Some systems cant be patched with our patch so you will need to change hosts file manually.

go in my computer "C:/windows/system32/drivers/etc/"
there you will have hosts
open hosts file with notepad delete all and paste this:

127.0.0.1 localhost
178.162.191.176 nProtect.lineage2.com
178.162.191.176 L2authd.lineage2.com

if you have MSN installed you will need to patch and hosts.msn
open hosts.msn delete all from there and paste same thing
ps. Dont forget to save:)

If you have problems starting the game ie: client crash . gameguard errors get http://fyyre.ivory-tower.de/freya_unpack.rar and replace dll in lineageII/system.

Heeey my patch didnt work so i changed the host files in my system but everything works fine i can start the game with no problems
but when i try to login it says wrong details but on the site i can login with my account. and it looks like i have the normal version of Lineage 2

oo i dont know what to do. i have reinstalled 3 times and i still cant login.

1st: Use LineageII.exe from gamefolder (Official patcher) to update to Freya.

2nd: Make sure its all up-to-date by running a “Checking Files” on the official executable.

did you updated? go in your lineage2 folder open LineageII.exe and press check files after that go in windows/system32/drivers/etc and replace hosts and you should be fine
