There are only few RBs, that need quest, you really dont need them. For more of 90% of the RBs you dont need quest. You must be more than 8 lvls up than the RB, or you will be cursed by him and will not have the possibility to kill him. For the quests: Open your map, click on the "World Info" button, then select "Quests", you will see all available quests in the game. About the subclass: Yes, when you play on the sub, you will use only his skills, when you go back to main class, you will have only your skills from the main class.
